Organiz\u00e1ronse as PortOlimp\u00edadas como un evento para promover o uso do galego e a recuperaci\u00f3n das tradici\u00f3ns a trav\u00e9s de competici\u00f3ns en xogos tradicionais. A primeira fase do proxecto consistiu en co\u00f1ecer e valorar o Centro de Interpretaci\u00f3n do Xogo Popular e Tradicional e a s\u00faa xogoteca, investigando xogos tradicionais e recollendo l\u00e9xico relacionado, establecendo un compromiso de usar o galego en todas as actividades. Na segunda fase, seleccion\u00e1ronse xogos para competir en tres fases eliminatorias, coincidindo co magosto, o nadal e o entroido, con xogos de equipo, individuais e combinados. Na terceira fase, informouse a toda a comunidade educativa sobre o desenvolvemento das olimp\u00edadas, organizando competici\u00f3ns no patio e formando equipos por aulas. Finalmente, os resultados do proxecto foron avaliados e difundidos a trav\u00e9s de material did\u00e1ctico, v\u00eddeos, fotograf\u00edas e redes sociais. O proxecto logrou incrementar o uso do galego, fomentando a uni\u00f3n entre alumnado e profesorado e promovendo a valoraci\u00f3n das tradici\u00f3ns galegas.
